The PGR stated that it will only form “judgment on the elements” contained in the investigation “at the end of the investigation”.

The Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras, issued a note on Tuesday evening, 12, stating that he “did not watch the recording” of the ministerial meeting on April 22, shown to representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office and lawyers of former Minister Sérgio Moro and President Jair Bolsonaro. For this reason, the PGR denies having commented on its impressions of the video “with interlocutors”.

“Augusto Aras did not comment with his interlocutors on his impressions of the content of the video, nor did he express any judgment about it, either because he did not watch the recording or because he was not meeting with the prosecutors who watched it, since the prosecutors, right after the exhibition of the material, participated in the eight ministers of State “, said Aras, in a note.

The PGR stated that it will only form “judgment on the elements” contained in the investigation “at the end of the investigation”.

On Tuesday night, Minister Celso de Mello, of the Federal Supreme Court and rapporteur of the inquiry, opened a period of 48 hours for Aras to express his opinion on the lifting of the confidentiality – total or partial – of the recording of the ministerial meeting.
