Itabira records seven new cases of coronavirus; total reaches 133


A new bulletin released by the Itabira City Hall, this Saturday afternoon (23), shows that seven new cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours. Altogether, the municipality now has 133 confirmed cases of Covid-19. Of this total, 122 are recovered in home isolation. A death caused by the disease was also recorded in Itabira. Also according to the epidemiological bulletin, 84 people are monitored and 91 cases were discarded.

Data on the epidemiological profile of patients, released yesterday (22), indicate that more than half of those infected with the disease are men and people under 40. The information is from the Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS).

Minas Gerais records 6,338 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) until this Saturday (23), according to a bulletin from the Minas Gerais State Health Secretariat (SES-MG). So far, 3,348 patients in the state are already recovered.
