Filipe Osório de Castro and Rahim Ahamad left the direction of the club, elected on September 8, 2018, after Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos also left the position of member, in December 2019, to run for the leadership of CDS-PP, then replaced by André Bernardo.

Sporting Clube de Portugal hereby announces the departure of Vice President Filipe Osório de Castro and member Rahim Ahamad for personal and professional reasons, a consequence of the global crisis generated by the pandemic of COVID-19.
The Club appreciates the effort and dedication with which Filipe Osório de Castro and Rahim Ahamad faced the mission of serving Sporting Clube de Portugal and in particular the contribution they have made in these extremely difficult months of their professional lives, in which they have never stopped contributing. actively and positively for the management of our Club.
Due to the departure of Filipe Osório de Castro and Rahim Ahamad, André Cymbron assumes the position of member of the Sporting Clube de Portugal Board of Directors, being responsible for the International portfolio and Pedro Lancastre will represent the Club in the Heritage area; Alexandre Ferreira will keep the Partners and Museums portfolio, André Bernardo with the Marketing and Commercial area and Miguel Nogueira Leite with the Institutional area. Frederico Varandas, Francisco Salgado Zenha, João Sampaio, Maria Serrano and Miguel Afonso keep the previous folders.
