Since the beginning of the new coronavirus pandemic, experts point out that companies could begin to rethink the way employees do their jobs. Apparently, Twitterj plans these changes.
According to an email sent by Jack Dorsey, CEO of the company, to employees, those who wish to continue working from home “forever”, even after the reopening of the company’s offices.
“If our employees are in a role and situation that allows them to work from home and want to continue to do so forever, we will make it happen. Otherwise, our offices will be warm and welcoming, with some additional precautions when we think it is safe to return” said Jennifer Christie, vice president of people at Twitter.
The company plans to reopen its offices by September, but reiterates that the resumption of classroom activities will be done gradually and cautiously. In addition, the social network canceled all scheduled events for the rest of the year. They say that everything should be rescheduled for 2021.
